True friend

Some people think that you can have only one true friend.

People  wonder  what is the most important thing in their life and  they believe that friendship is one of them. Somebody is happy to have a lot of friends. But can all your mates be true friends?

In my opinion, there can be only one real friend. To begin with the fact that we can't share the secret with all our friends, otherwise it won't be a secret anymore. Furthermore, when we don’t know what to do in a difficult situation we want to get  the important advice from a person we definitely trust. Finally, I am absolutely convinced that it is very difficult to meet a person  having   the same points of view, interests, hobbies,  who is ready to accept you as you are. It can be only one friend.

Nevertheless, there are people who do not share this opinion. The opponents   believe that if a person is  sociable he needs to have many friends to communicate and share common interests. Another fact is that some people change their place of living, studying or working and  they make new friends who become very close to them.

Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because we can't completely rely on many people at once trusting them with something that is  important in our life.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the person is lucky if he has a true  friend that understands and supports in any situation.
